Three people under one umbrella, and from ground level you cannot tell who is actually getting soaked. From above it is all out in the open: the umbrella is nowhere near big enough, the one in the middle is perfectly fine, and both of the others have a shoulder and half an arm out in it with that side of the coat gone dark. Six feet on wet pavement, rain rings in the puddles, the sky in the standing water. Tweak: 'swap the umbrella for a coat' is harsher.
