Photographed my sausages and mash at 9pm and got back the exact plate — same gravy flood, same faded rim — on a judging table under studio lights, with a judge frozen mid-taste, fork still in mouth, eyes closed like something profound is happening. The plate is untouched glamour-wise, which is the joke: the show came to the food. First tweak I tried was 'she is about to call security' and I haven't recovered.
